A little background information from Girls Inc….
Fifty lucky Girls Inc. girls gathered at our West Dallas campus for an intimate, “girls-only” Q&A with Reese Witherspoon. Girls Inc. Communications Director, Kirsten Bossart moderated the Q&A with Reese as she talked with the girls about everything from following their dreams, to learning about managing money. Her goal with this type of outreach is to increase financial literacy among girls. Witherspoon was in town opening her new store in Highland Park, Draper James. For security reasons the event was kept under wraps from everyone including the girls until Reese walked in the doors. You can check out press coverage in D Magazine (and see Girls Inc. highlights below) and Yahoo! Celebrity. Special thanks to the Women’s Resource Group from Dr Pepper Snapple for their volunteer efforts and to Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas Communications Director, Kirsten Bossart for moderating the Q&A with Mrs. Witherspoon.
