Our 50th Anniversary Virtual Celebration
We’re so thankful for everyone who participated in our 50th anniversary virtual gala. Over 500 people registered and we surpassed our fundraising goal in the first 20 minutes! The event featured a wonderful performance from Meghan Trainor and was emceed by Gloria Campos. Both of these “strong, smart and bold” women embody the mission of Girls Inc.
Power 2 the Girl Conference
This spring, Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas hosted our second annual Power 2 the Girl Conference. This year’s conference was themed “Power H.E.R (Health, Equity and Reform)” and provided girls in 6th-10th grade attending schools in underserved areas of Dallas the social and emotional tools they need to navigate this challenging time.
